ok pls advise /me beeing from uk /allways moved chicks to brood box to dry out /i have been doing same here am i wronge to move the chicks so soon they dry out in brood box in 15 mints /no food is given for 24 hours but water is supplyed /i have no dead chicks /there is no humidity in brood box/so no chills

It is more the temperature and humidity loss out of the incubator for the eggs still to hatch , but they can get a chill shifting from one to the other depending how far away they are from each other I have them in different locations .

agree with that one cannakid, my brooder box is next to the bator so its out of one and into the other i have a lamp on in the brooder box for a few days before to heat up the floor i use an infa red heat lamp first of all so they can eat a lot more food in the first few days they sleep when they want to i used to use them on my piglets i do leave them in the bator for a full day after they hatch out if there are any laging they will get a move on and join the ones that are out seems to work for me trev

Their first post said Albany so I presume that's where they are ,where it rains a lot .
