Hi there
I have indian runners hatching today and so far 9 out of 12 eggs. Quite amazing considering the incubator ran about half a degree cooler the whole time and we also had a 12 hour black out.
One of the ducklings has a funny neck which is making it look upwards.
Does anyone have any advice of what I can do? Is the problem fixable or should I send it to heaven?

its commonly known as star gazzing disease it main cause is minerals getting low in the breeding perants can be fixed with a good mineral mix in their water for 2 weeks, you may need to help it feed and drink for the first few days.

thanks cannakid. i did get a reply off BYP and gave it one of the kids multi vitamins crushed and mixed with water and it has recovered. it is quite amazing as if you didn't know which one had the problem, you wouldn't pick it.
