I guess we are all familiar to the Styrene box's that are frequently used as brooder's, but I have a slight concern in as much as: My partner & I went out for several hour's yesterday & left 3 young chick's brooding in one in our lounge room at home,on arriving home later we found all 3 chick's walking around our lounge room & a huge hole in the side of the brooder, it is obvious that they had pecked their way through, my only concern is: no trace of styrene on the floor,

Chooks love styrene .Apparently their systems break it down easily , Seems to do them no harm but you would wonder where the chemicals go . Iv had many a chick eat through those boxes and if i have ever put one down around the big chooks they make a beeline for it and start eating . AMAZING
