I know I've read it somewhere before, but what is it that you can wash white chooks in for a show that bring out the whitest of whites?
I have a friend who wants to show a light sussex roo, is there anything you have to do to aviod the black also?
Thanks in advance (promise she won't try and take your ribbon - lol! ) ;D

mmmmmmmmmmmm there is an old remedy of a hair shampoo/rinse, but i can't remember its name. i use bluo, for whites in the laundry, in the final rinse of white birds or birds featuring white feathers. you need to be careful that you do not put too much in the water or the birds can turn a lighter shade of blue

I would use Glo white Shampoo,it is for horses but would work on chooks aswell.Don't leave it on longer than 10 minutes though it will turn your white chook purple.lol
