We have a beautiful Lavender Araucana Rooster we purchased as a (supposed) pullet at the beginning of January, who has just started crowing in the early morning. Would love to keep him as he is just beautiful, but we unfortunately can't due to Council rules.
Free to a very good home....he is a lovely looking bird, so we would be very happy for him to be welcomed elsewhere and loved as we have loved having him.
We live in Morley, and can email a photo if required.

Hi, Interested in your Rooster....however do you have any hens at all you could sell? Or Pure bred eggs, chicks etc? Or alternatively you dont happen to know where we could purchase Araucana's from do you? Have spoken with a lady named Glen who is going to let us know how her hatch goes but looking everywhere without success. Many Thanks Jen. P.S. We are an experienced chook home with years of experience.
Thanks Jen, I'm very keen to find him a good home, I'm devastated my gorgeous little Bluebell has turned out to be a Blueboy That's the second time we've had a rooster instead of a hen, and it's pretty upsetting to have to let them go. Plus he's really gorgeous looking and doesn't seem to mind a cuddle every now and again!
We don't have any hens or pure breds for sale, we've only got 3 other hens in our backyard coop and will be looking to add more soon, however I found a great lady to speak to at Comps Poultry www.poultryandbirdswesternaustralia.com/ who gave me some great advice. I found her very informative, but one thing she did tell me was that Araucanas are quite difficult to guarantee the sex of. They can guarantee Australorpes and Isa Browns though.
Let me know if you are able to take Bluebell and we can discuss details. Are you able to pick-up? We're at the Eden Hill end of Morley.
