Was just wondering with the Pekin ducks, how long after finishing being clucky and sitting on eggs do they start laying again? Also our drake lost his drake feather and was wondering if that will grow back?

Your Pekin drake will regrow its curled tail feathers again. As for your duck starting to lay again when i don't know. You are lucky to have a Pekin sit for that long.It has been bred out of most of them,i have only ever had one Pekin sit for a week or so.

Thanks for that. We must be lucky as in the end we had both our girls sitting side by for about three weeks looking after there eggs (about 20). It was unfortunate that the crows stole most of the eggs before they finally gave up. We grabbed the last 5 eggs in put them in the incubator and have hatched two baby ducks. We are now putting netting over all the pens.
