It sounds like INFECTIOUS Coryza (previously known as things like a cold, roup or can be one eyed flu ) is caused by bacteria . There are a few over the counter low grade antibiotics which will help as it is bacterial . It primarily attacks the upper respiratory system, including the nasal passages. Swelling of the face, wheezing, sneezing, nasal discharge,(including ‘bubbles’ at the corner of the eye), eyes glued shut, and open-mouth breathing are some of the more common symptoms. More info on colds and flu's on my web site including some natural remedies .

I lost a few with this about a year ago that's why I will not have birds brought onto the place I would rather take the chance with eggs I may loose a few but all the rest will be fine and I will have no worries I did try medication on them but it failed and they all passed on that's was a bad exercise never to be repeated I wish you luck Trev
