Pumpkin mania This was the no dig garden I tried this year for the first time I have 21 pumpkins and about the same to get in it seem to work well on that stuff but not on Tomatoes or cucumbers still cant have it all ways trev
I saw a good little herb garden idea on gardenning australia on Saturday using a weaving method to form walls of the bed which looked fanstastic. I am going to give that a go once it starts cooling down again

Hi Trev, your haul of pumpkins looks like mine except mine are butternuts. We've had a frew rockies and only 1 huge watermelon. Our capsicums and chilli's have been good but the tomatos were pretty non-exsistent. Seems everyone around our area has had trouble with tomatos.
butternuts."I wish" I put in a load of plants this year as we love them, the first lot did not even take off only for a couple of 75cmx10cm superb specimens. ;D ;D ;D The second lot have produced a few for me they will be late, still we will not go short and that's the main thing, all my beans took off and then died on me could not find out why I think it was just to hot for them, same as the cucumbers the funny thing was I got some seeds for Giant cauliflowers 500 cm across the head and they are still growing all through the heat and looking stronger, as you say, Tomatoes are at a loss this year I do not know anyone that has a good crop at all just enough to put aside for winter use and Pizza bases Trev
