Willow my pekin was due tomorrow or christmas day and this morning when we went to check her she was sitting there proudly with a baby beside her I'd say by the stripe on it that its from May the small silverlaced wyandotte. Underneath her was a little pure pekin. Alfie will be the father of all. 5 more eggs to go, fingers crossed. Then I have 46 due on the 27th in the incubator, 20 pekin and 26 out of the big pen, light sussex and australorps.

Here she is with her 2 babies. She is very protective so I haven't moved her to see if there is any more action.

Shea They are cute. Your little chick with the stripe looks like my Barnevellder chicks. I am due more chicks on the 5th and 9th of Jan and then I am done I still have 10wk olds and 5 wk olds and 2wk olds. My broodies were not in sinc this year. Maybe the season is a bit behind. You must be super organised if you are going away. Merry Christmas and enjoy you holiday. Cheers Linda
