Hi squeak, when I used a foam bellsouth100 bator, I just used to scrub it out with hot water and let it dry in the sun, and doing that never seem to have any adverse affects on the next hatch, when I upgraded to my new incubator I still do the same, except only with the trays that I can take out. I was a bit worried with the new one that hot water wasnt enough so I put a very small amount of bleach in the water after I had several hatches. Not a good move, I lost a lot of chicks in the next hatch, so have gone back to the hot water again, now no problems

When I bought mine, they told me a weak solution of detol is good and he said do not use bleach or similar as it eats the foam.
