I am a chicken person but recently got 4 indian runner ducks off a lady that couldn't keep them anymore. I am such a sucker for taking on stray or unwanted animals. Anyway I was wondering if I let them out into the vegie garden do they eat all the vegie seedlings or do they just eat the weeds and grass. I know if I let my chickens in there the vegies will all be gone by the end of the day but I didn't know if ducks are the same.. And also do I just feed them the same as I feed the chickens or do they have special needs . Would love to hear from some "duck" people. Thanx Tona..

Thanks Trev. I didn't think they were as bad as chickens at eating all the plants. So once the vegies are a bit bigger I should be ok to put them in there? I just love to see them walking around in the garden

Once the vegies are a bt bigger they will be fine and the ducks eat all the snails.
