that form of terramycin might not be the best, but i spose its better than nothing. its sounds very much like it could be chronic respiratory disease, caused by a mycoplasma organism. this tend to be around in low levels and when stresses such as moving happens it flares up. it can often flare up at the changes of a season. where is your nearest vet? a good antibiotic for this is tylan, and you may have some left over from the pigs? it woudl be agood idea to treat all your birds in that pen to stop the spread of the crd. how long were you going to fatten them up for, as i am not sure what the withholding period for tylan is. here you go, www.drugs.com/vet/tylan-soluble.htmlit says to give it to them for 3 days, and a with holding period of 24hrs if you scroll down. if, as annieyokie suggest they have coryza, (there is some debate as to whether this disease is in western australia) the tylan will work on that too.

HI Jacquie Thanks for that. I only have to put some mussel on them, there large enough but not fed up as they should be. It would only be 6/8 weeks tops I have them on a 24 percent diet to give them a lift it has been cold of late and the move to a new place and all could have sparked it off. I have got Tylan left so I will start to hem on that Thanks for the update. Its just there heads are swollen and only there eyes weeping a cough now and again. I have moved them to a large outside run I was preparing for them and they seem a lot better now I have Wheat green feed in it and they got stuck into that but the strange thing was I have a pile of Lime they have to walk past and each one of them stopped and had some of it may be there short of a mineral or two as well Trev
