Hi Everyone, I have recently joined the group. I live in Bassendean just on the outskirts of Perth, WA and love our chickens and ducks. We have 2 Gold Laced Wyandottes (2months old), 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte (POL and hope to get eggs soon, maybe after winter), 1 Light Sussex (4 or 5 Months), 1 Ancona bantam cross (4-5 Months), 1 Buff Pekin Bantam (4months), 1 Bantam Wyandotte (black with gold around neck, POL, again hoping to get some eggs soon), 1 Partridge Wyandotte (24 weeks old). 1 Black and White (pied I think) Muscovy breeding pair (7-8 months, and about to start to nest) and 1 Blue and white Female (5-6) months. Can't breed any chooks as we are not allowed to have rooster here, but the ducks are breeding. I would now like to add a Columbian Wyandotte to the mix, so if anyone out there in chook land can help please drop me a line. Cheers Tezza

HI again Tezza just reading through your bird collection again what a load you have. Good on you, how large is the back yard as your not allowed to have roosters I would assume that you in suburbia, one of the old style blocks may be 1/4 acre 1/2 acre it good to see that there making a come back there Trev

Thanks everyone. We like them We are hoping to find and add a Columbian Wyandotte pullet soon if we are able to find one here in Perth somewhere. We love the wyandotte and sussex breed. Even a Buff Sussex maybe nice to add to our collection will be complete.
