Hi Robin, and welcome...Yep oohh well, funny I've made that mistake too, when I google something, and it comes up WA...We would still be interested in having a squizz at your chooks. I can tell you now, you are lucky you are there, you wouldn't want to be here today...too d**n hot!!!! 42c that's 108f in your language. All the poor chooks are panting, I just wet down a big patch under one of my huge tree's so they can have a cool sand bath. Look forward to some pics of your chooks and even where you live. ;D

well, it is almost bed time, but I am enjoying your hospitality. Just moved north here to Washington state but was living in California and it was 117 a few days there last May, and usually everyday is 110. I hate the heat ! I keep Cuckoo Marans, Light Brahmas, and have 14 barred rocks ordered, and searching for Barnevelders...I've no idea how to post a pic, but will try

Ikbokchook- your name always sounded a bit weird to me ), that makes us all local, I suppose Cluck 'n Waddle has posted a step by step description a while ago, you are not the first person to be baffled by this procedure here is the link: wapoultrytraders.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=faq&action=display&thread=1081hope it works for you!

Good morning all from the states. I've many errands to run today but I have printed out the instructions to upload piccies and will try my best to get some loaded to you in the next few days. It is spring here on a brand new homestead in the woods. We have buildings going up, fencing to do, barerrot fruit trees to bury, top soil and garden to build, and in a few weeks we will have to get our seeds in the ground..oh yeah, about 20 chickies arrive on the 15th of March so I need to dust off the brooder. So much to do ! We haven't even dug our well yet ! More later, I've lots of q's to ask you !

hello all, last time I was on you were all in bed fast asleep, and what is a baramundi ? You have such strange and frightening animals and bugs there. Like all those frogs..and the poison jellies...well, I have at the moment just a minute to write as I have 2 more barerrot trees to plant and I will be done with the orchard for the year. Apricots, and hope they take here as it is cool and the rainfall can be 70" a year. As it is raining now, but warm and blossoms are trying to swell...My guy and myself were raising koi in California, gave it up and moved here I had to sell alot of my chookies, aracaunas and speckled sussex...have any of you kept ISA Browns ? And have any of you had problems with your hens getting egg bound ? And my smart a** guy wants to know which way the water spins in the loos down there: clockwise or counter ? He is so funny ! Tomorrow I write some more and will attempt piccies

You think the frogs are terrifying, have you heard of drop bears?? lol en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drop_bearISA's are ver poplular here and I ahve read some things about them getting eggbound. I havent kept them myself but Im sure some other people may be able to help. Tell your cheeky man, the water spins clockwise here! Cheers, Wendy
