I have been reading up a bit about health of chickens. I notice a lot of people worm their poultry. I have had chickens on and off for years, but never thought of worming them. They always seemed healthy So my question is, if I don't worm my silkies will they get sick? If yes, what are the symptoms. Is preventative better than cure? What is best, tablet or liquid? Where would I buy the product and what is recommended?
Wow what a lot of questions, hope someone can help Cheers Tina

I finished up buying a product locally. Only trouble was it was pink and the chooks took one look and said, 'thanks, but no thanks'. I also did the ducks who pretty much said the same thing, so I diluted the mix with some more water, the ducks said fine, thanks and drank and made it muddy. The chooks took one look at the muddy water and said thanks we will have that too. So next time I do them I will just throw in a handful of dirt and everyone will be happy....lol
