Good on you Annie, take the hard line with them. I have told my girls that if this is an example of the type of behaviour they are going to be showing on tour, well guess what....NO TOUR. They have been the perfect angels and even laid some eggs. Oh they said they had a great night with the Anconas and said they are welcome to visit anytime. My girls thought it was so funny that they thought the white balls where eggs and were too polite to tell them anything else, or else they just wanted to let them find out how silly they were.

Now that you mention it, Carolyn, you're right, it does give the old "liqueur filled easter egg" a completely new meaning if I fill the green poultry drinker with red wine I might get in trouble, though, I reckon RSPCA doesn't like that sort of thing Anne, you know how I feel about you shooting off - it's very irresponsible but anyway, have a great time! Maybe you need to tie little name tags with your address around all the chooks necks, in case they come knocking on our doors - I would certainly recognize Grinch, Maggie if she's wearing her singing outfit, oh, and Pipa, I'll never forget her look, but you seem to have a lot more of them and they are now all hanging out for a playdate

;)Ross will keep me uptodate with there antics and keep an eye on the ring leaders. I have set up a mini stage and a pratice timetable Iwill access a computer to keep you updated . rest of my mob are panting at the bit to get out and visit .They all want costumes now ,performing or not . I had a silkie chick throw a tantrum tonight because I locked there cage early .I think they were planing an escape. tags might be a good idea . The new chicks are all practicing their cords in preparation . :oThey want to know what colour they will be wearing to match the little bow socks I promised them if they kept the noise down a little .The chooks next door heard them and sent their owners over to find out how they can get in on the act .

Anne, I'm so pleased to hear that you can still keep an eye on things while you're away ;D At my place it's getting silly now, I was just practicing some music by de Falla while the chooks were out in the garden, next thing I know they're hovering around the piano room door all excited!! NOW THEY WANT TO DO FLAMENCO! Where on earth can I get costumes for that? If I had to sew them myself I'd have to try to persuade them to do some pole dancing instead, less fabric involved

I have a couple of flamingo dolls ,with wonderful dresses i got in Spain a couple of years ago I could lend the garments to your girls if they don't mind second hand . On the other-hand Iv a couple of spangled hamburg teenagers Samantha and Nadine who are up for pole dancing with your girls. ::)I just had to mention it and they were practicing in-front of Grinch and Splash(australorp roo )who were most impressed . The frizzles Snow-pop, Chiquita and Randy were asking about a jive routine .They seem to think they were the type .I can teach them the dance but what about music?? Flying out at lunch time just been up to the pens to lay down the law and the only response I got was giggling .Fowl play wanted to accompany me to the airport but I was a little concerned at having a biker mob arriving at the airport in force .I said NO!!!

well, I'm sorry to say, the only one of my chooks that could possibly do pole dancing next to to Samantha and Nadine is Ronja, the Barnevelder, she's slim with a very clear silhouette, whereas I'm afraid my two sussex's are a bit on the plump side (if they ask - I never said that, of course! ). Lili just pretended not to be interested, she said poles, just like leather and whips don't do anything for her she also said those two should rather join the leather act, how good would this be: the spanked spangeld hamburgs.... We will still need the flamenco dresses, though, thanks Anne Second hand is fine, most of what we've got is pre-loved I tell you what, our chooks seem to get a great workout, physically and intellectually! By now I, too had to get the whiteboard out and drew up a timetable, we are in in so many acts, it's getting a bit full on to keep up with the preparation Anne, if you read this, could you please pass the following link on to Snow-pop, Chiquita and Randy? www.jiveoholic.org.uk/music.aspIt's a list of Jive songs for them to choose You should show them how to google things, so they can use Grinch's laptop and investigate themselves next time, not that I mind doing it for them

:oRoss is just coping ,chooks a little out of hand .Snowpop,Chiquita and Randy have been arguing over Real wild child and Greased lightning .Ross has had to play them over and over so they can pick. 8-)Fowl play think that real wild child will make a good theme song for them( biker-chooks) and the jivers are upset thet their song may be stolen. Ross says he can deal with eggs, water ,chicks and hay but playing and sorting out arguments about songs and listening to the bitchy hens is beyond the call of duty.. He is thinking about sending a few packing .If you wake up tomorrow (pianochook or fluffychook)to find frizzles and grinch in you garden youll know what happened.

It wouldn't surprise me ,dont know if Grinch is planing a visit today of if he went out yesterday .Ross says there is allot of whispering going on. Ross thinks I should be there I'm waiting here for my daughter to have her first baby. Its got to be soon I have to get home for my sons wedding in a week and a half and of course the build up and preparation for the big event.

so Ross didn't tell you, obviously! I've had two spangled Hamburgs knocking on my door last night! Samantha and Nadine, as it turned out. They were in tears, absolutely heartbroken, mumbling something about having enough of those roosters, Samantha asked me if nunneries accept chooks and Nadine said she'd always preferred pullets, anyway Maggie was with them and she explained that Grinch was only talking about "Beauty this" and "Fluffy that", and that the girls even tried a little strip to get his attention (you think they are moulting!!!), but alas, no success Maggie said she'd like to stay and get some coaching, she could pay with eggs I told her she'd get a sore bum if she wanted to pay my regular fee but I would make an exception and coach her anyway. Turns out she's a natural Queen of the Night. They can all stay until you come back, if you like, but your daughter better hurries up (how exciting!!! fingers and toes crossed for your daughter and you, of course! ) before I've got your entire menagerie camping in my garden...(except for Grinch of course, he'd be at Fluffychooks'!!!)

I'm so glad they are safe with you . :DI don't think Ross wanted to worry me or he didn't think Id find out they were missing (that would be right) Looking forward to hearing Maggie play on my return .I suppose they will want a piano installed in the chook pen for practice sessions . Do you know an outlet for chook sized pianos ?guess Maggie will require a new outfit as well. Grinch has been on the drums next door but seems to think he should have a set . (its going to look like a music studio out there) 8-)I'm wondering if he and beauty are planing some sort of duo together. ;D

On another note - my speckled sussex boys are VERY put out they haven't been invited to any rendevous at others places and my light sussex girls are upset also, but aren't willing to admit it - they've gone off the lay in protest! (they think grinch is kinda cute! )

Well I am very sorry for your girls, Beauty is absolutely smitten by Grinch, she talks of nothing else. But she is a lovely girl and feels bad that the other girls are upset, but she doesn't want to give up her man....rooster. Fluffy says she thinks he is realy cute too and is welcome here anytime. She also extended her welcome to any who would like to visit. Just please stay away from the bowling club tonight and tomorrow night as there was hell to play after last week.

Anne, she got piano lessons AND singing coaching! Rachmaninoff is coming on nicely ;D She's working very hard, I'm glad I've got my neighbors trained to tolerate music , you won't be disappointed! Ikbokchook, my girls just told me off, they asked me how I dared to keep your speckled sussex roosters secret from them??!! Here we go, those spectacular spanking speckled boys of yours have got an official invitation About your girls: Anne's Nadine said if your light sussex's wouldn't have their minds set on Grinch ONLY, she'd be very much inclined to make them happy - she is feeling so liberated now that she's come out of the closet
