oohhh, you better get to the bottom of this that's quite alarming that you have to drug them And I forgot to mention: no tattoos either!!! I don't wanna see any Durer's Praying Hands or spiderwebs on naked necks !!!! Check your telephone's dialed numbers list to make sure they didn't contact a mobile piercing and tattoo service...
You would NOT believe what happened to me yesterday: I saw Ronja, my Barnevelder repeatedly fluttering up and down a garden chair. When I came closer to investigate I could hear her sing "Those magnificent chooks with their flying machines, they go up-didl-up-up, they go down-didl-down-down...". Of course I stopped her to make her aware that the correct lyrics are "those magnificent men in their flying machines..." and she got all offensive!!! Told me it was going to be HER performance in the big concert, I should s*$t up , mind my own bl#@dy business and better go back inside to do more practice, at the present speed the bumble bee would drop out of the sky if it was even attempting to fly, and Mussorgsky composed a BALLET of the unhatched chicks, not a LULLABY for them!!!! There you have it, you feed them, raise them and that's what you get in return But at least it looks like we've got another highlight for the show ;D

I believe it! Fame is going to their heads This must be very stressful for you to be up at 4am writing to us. Its very hard !!!they have minds of their own and we are simply there to make them look good (and feed and keep them of course) . ;D ;D Rongja's new act sounds like a side slapper although Im sure she means it to be serious. Trev is very good with building things ,maybe if we offered him some cool weather he could build a fancy "aeroplane contraption" for the act .

It's hard all right put insomnia on my list of symptoms and get some Anconas with drops over here, will you, please? But I must say, I felt a lot better when I realized that you had logged on at 2.30am, so I didn't feel too silly Ronja is dead serious, that's for sure, an aeroplane would be fantastic, she'd get a real kick out of it, which would enhance her performance considerably - at least that's what she told me just then.
When I was lying awake last night I was reflecting on what you said about the ring leader in your chook pen: have you still got this Pipa Pullet? There is something in her eyes that tells me she could not be as innocent as everybody thinks ...
don't you agree?
The other possibility, of course, have you had a word with our good old friend Grinch??!! Maybe this would shed some light on things In that case I'd be really worried about the tattoos

:oLooks suspicious ! you might be right .she the quite type but she could be stirring up trouble !! :-XI bribe Grinch to keep an eye out I'm sure hes not involved . :DExpect the drops soon the Anconas are on the way.You may hear them coming as they are rehearsing as they fly and youll be in for a performance. They have come up with a rendition of "Wild Thing"and are hoping you will see fit to let them of other duty's for 10 mins to perform on the big day.

My silkies scoffed at the idea of tattoo's, they said...'Really why would you want to tattoo black skin, lets stick with the toe and nose rings'.....I just about fell off my perch, if was on one, who mentioned nose rings (or beak rings in their nostrils).....? I think these girls have been in touch with Grinch who may have suggested it via PM. Oh another thing they have been listening to my girls play guitar hero and just LUUUVVVV the song Barracuda by the group Heart. They reckon lots of guitar bits in there for flying to.
Silkies, 2 dogs, 2 monkeys (oops, I mean grandchildren)
that's good if they like guitar, because my buff sussex, Bonnie, said, if she got her name after Bonnie Raitt, she might as well do a couple of her songs, so that's the guitar act taken care of
and thanks, Anne, your Anconas ARE quick! Their performance is definitely up to standard, I've got no problem putting them on the program ;D They are just having a cuppa and a few pellets with my girls, then I send them on their way, should be back home for dinner

Well ,the Anconas are still not home . I don't know what you gave them pianochook, but I hoping that they haven't got stuck into some fermented fruit. If they get hold of a computer and read this forum they are likely to come home with glowing tattoos (thanks Wendy ) and tales of accommodation better than their own . Fluffychook ,I did see Grinch creeping out the back through the door to my office earlier I hope hes not leading your girls astray .I heard mention of beak studs but didn't put two and two together . Im about to send out a search party for these lost birds . Im sending the Orpingtons on mini motor bikes in little leather jackets so watch the news for reports of sightings a new miniature bikie group hitting Perth roads known as "fowl play "

oh no!!!! Just read your post, went outside to check my girls - gone! all three of them!!! Went into the kitchen, checked the pantry - not a sign of the red wine I just bought, OR the beer, for that matter!!! I thought it was a bit noisy earlier, I did hear them chant, but I thought it was just another innocent happy little song - who would suspect it's serious if your chooks sing "vivat Bacchus, Bacchus lebe! Bacchus war ein braver Mann ", you sort of expect your animals to recite Mozart in a musician household, don't you?! I should have gotten the hint: of course! It's a song from the "Abduction from the Seraglio"!!!!! I feel very silly now Anyway, I reckon they've all gone of on a nightclub spree Can you contact your Orpingtons via radio, I think they should start in Northbridge Either that, or - I am close to the Hillary's, yeah, that must be where they are!!! I think I'll go down to the harbor and the beach myself I'll meet "Fowl Play" there, tell them I'll be wearing a straw hat with light sussex feathers. Lili is moulting, you see, so I'll just stick her feathers on an old gardening hat, not that I'll stand out in any way dressed like that Wish me luck !!!! I'll keep you posted... probably around 4am-ish

'Fowl Play', what a great name....lol Anyway, I know where they are, OH just got home from playing lawn bowls and said there was a commotion on one of the greens as some chooks where trying to steal the white balls. Which means they won't be home before dawn as it is a long way from Kalamunda to Banjup. They may get bumblefoot from all their walking so radio the orpingtons to head for the hills.
Silkies, 2 dogs, 2 monkeys (oops, I mean grandchildren)
Fluffychook, are you sure it's Anne's Anconas, and did you find my girls in your pen as well? I'm sure they must be sticking together, they got on really well! It's a long way from my place to Kalamunda, if it is them all I can think of is they took the Australorp Limo Service Please let me know, I'm worried sick
phew! they're back. just came home pissed as... I'm glad they're not laying yet, I would have had to ditch the eggs, they'd have been conterminated no way I could offer those to my family turned out my ladies went to Hillary's, the Anconas took the stretched Australorpe limo up to the bowling ground in the hills I had no idea it'd be like this to own chooks, why didn't anybody warn me???!!
???Iv been stressing all day ,no Anconas this morning and the limo service and Fowl play no were to be seen. Just got home and white bowling balls scattered on the drive way so I knew someone was back. No one is saying anything when I tried to find out what happened ,but I did get told that Pianockooks place and Fluffychooks places were "cool man". They also tried to tell me the balls on the drive were eggs "LOL" who are they trying to kid .They must still be affected by the red wine. Im worried about Ross ,Im off to Sydney & Melbourne tomorrow for a week and I am worried leaving these birds behind anything could happen . Think it under control ,Iv threatened them with being sent to the March pencil auction in swan view . I wont repeat what they said to me but I think they got the Idea
