Love the song!! The choir may be able to sing better in German than chook. and Hippys a definite we will need a few "roadies" for set up anyone got some geese they could support Hippy . Had a bit of a rebellion on my end. :-/I mentioned in passing the hair cut deal and all hell broke loose .Grinch put his foot down and said he was sending a petition to W.A.Poultry if anyone dared require he cut HIS hair . >:(He also threatened to bring the bald turkey in on things apparently his temper is something to avoid. I tried to explain that the hair cut only applied to chicks in the choir . Long and short of it he wasts a contract ,no hair cut for birds over 8 weeks & and if the ladies are getting sensual oils he wants reflexology after every performance. He seemed to think a few silkie ladies would make fine massage therapist's ,he has s seen the pick of fluffychooks silkie and I think hes hoping she may join the band

I'm so sorry you had so much trouble, Anne! Never mention things like these while you are actually standing in the chook pen, always make sure there is a fence between you and your little darlings, just in case! I'm simply worried about your safety! (deja vu, again!!!??) Don't part with all of the Graviola just yet, Grinch seems to need some urgently, and maybe hang on to some St johns wort , too, in case Fluffychook's silkie doesn't join Just get him to check out the "new arrival" section on the site, I'm sure he'd take to one of those cute chicks instead (they would all be grown up by now, so we shouldn't get in trouble in regards to under aged relations), I remember seeing some rather attractive little pekins with fluffy feet... Please tell him the contract is fine, no chicks over 8weeks will be allowed in the chorus, anyway. I'm confident the german pronunciation will be spotless, I'll make sure of that. I just need to watch out that we don't rehearse longer than 8 weeks, or my whole chorus is too old according to regulations

My orpingtons 5 of them (4 hens 1 rooster) are looking for their niche. Any ideas . To do this thing right we need to perform swan lake unless there are some swans out there we need some elegant volunteers . Ross did a rendition of swan lake on a cruise we did in Russia ;D ;D ,hilarious as it was I don't think he will pass for a bird.!!!!! Some one out there must have some other talented birds ?

Well had a word with the girls and the response was great. Only one thing is Fluffy (avatar) is on mother duties at the moment so she said as long as the bubs can be minded she is in. Beauty is all for it, she is a magnificent pure black silkie. She mentioned something along the lines of 'Beauty and the Beast'.....not sure what she was on about really.

I know exactly what she means but if you talk to his highness Grinch he thinks he is just gorgeous!! Baby sitting no problems I have Collen Cochin who Love's ss babysitting . Beauty sounds like she should do a solo something along the lines of Tina Arena s- Italian Love song Fire in your eyes, a promise of true love and protection but in your mind, neccessity of getting your way. Tradition disguised. Suspicion and lies. Grinch liked the Idea to

There must be some spangled hamburgs, campines or sebrights around, surely, to do the cygnets. My girls just told me if you are doing Swan lake, than they want to do Stravinsky's Fire bird! They are on the lawn rehearsing as we speak, I told them not to dance on the pavers, it's bad for their joints I'm having trouble finding pointe shoes for them, how did you guys solve problem??! I'm so pleased Grinch will get your girls, fluffychook! It's hard work to keep him happy, and we need all our time and concentration for the planning and realization of the big event. We do need to think about catering, too. One chook that can absolutely NOT be trusted with selling food is my light sussex, Lili, she is so greedy that she would not accept that she'd have to share with everybody, she'd just eat it all herself I was just thinking, what if the turkey supported Hippy with the bouncer assignment? We just need to check if both of them have recent police clearance - that could be a problem

There is only one place to buy chook pointe shoes..... I hear they also have a fine range of 'toe socks'! No wonder the turkey is angry - he's been reduced to bouncer work with a cow! Not sure if he'd have a police clearance either, probably got arrested for using excessive force!

thanks for the help with the shoes, ikbokchook, that's super! ;D I'm not sure if Hippy's got clearance either, she might have done some drug related offenses, you never know. Anne, considering that not everybody can be in the limelight, how about your Orpingtons taking over the first aid duties? You can train them and make little backpacks for all sorts of remedies. I would have suggested to ask the Anconas to do that, as they already have experience with our herb delivery service, but they might jump the fence at the concert, too, which leaves us with no paramedics - that would be most undesirable

Im excited about the shoe shop I was stressing over the same problem the girls wanted not only points but some glamor heels and the speckled Sussex some country boot-scooting boots.Thank-you so much for finding it Ikbochook they are excited . ;D ;D I told them I thought the shop may be in Hong kong so they are now planing a shopping trip . ???I don't know who they think is going to pay for all of this. Food will need careful planing for the big event ,it may need to be a vegetarian event don't want to upset any on by having relations on the menu.

Oh, they should watch it, Hong Kong is a dangerous place for poultry There are lots of reports about chooks being snatched off the street never to be seen again Maybe the shop sells on ebay, they should, really, or their customers might make it to the shop but not back home, so they can't buy again... makes it cheaper for you, too Anne, you're right, we have to be careful with the menu, the word "chicken burger" would trigger World War 3, but Ronja, my Barnevelder can't go a day without flies or bugs - if worse comes to worse I just pack her lunch

Spent the afternoon on eBay,the girls were concerned of the tales of hong kong so have found a chinese company to make to order but they are all now arguing over colours. I thought maybe the singers amongst them could just have there toes painted red but that idea was met with disgust . The guinea fowl are trying to come up with some sort of act ,but are lost for ideas . The did come up with riding a pony bareback singing "shell be coming round the mountain when she comes ". :-/But alas no pony

I'm glad they changed their mind. Much safer. Anne, of course they are appalled by the thought of "just red" toenails: nowadays you have Nail Art! You can integrate little diamonds (just donate the ones you just got of Ross for Valentin's day...) and miniature patterns, would look smashing and detail is everything! I think ikbokchook's got a horse! Otherwise, if it's a pony your guineas are after, maybe this will do perth.gumtree.com.au/c-Pets-horses-livestock-Andalusian-x-W0QQAdIdZ185463685it's a small price to pay if it means they can sing "she'll be coming 'round the mountain", who would want to miss out on that??!! I just found the sheet music for Mussorksy's "Pictures of an exhibition" on my bookshelf, I'm happy to play the piano version of the "Ballet of the unhatched chicks" as a background to yet another dance presentation, it would be a hit, I reckon. We could simply place all your incubators on stage, unfortunately we won't see the chicks performing, but that also saves us buying pointe shoes for them - you know how the prices are ridiculous for shoes that small

I have some bantam wyandottes who have asked if they could perform the flight of the bumble bee. I think they just want to see if Pianochook can play it myself....lol. We could always use clear incubators with close up camera's to catch the chicks performance. Which means we need light chooks and sound chooks.

I'll play you the Flight of the Bumblebee, no problem , great piece to warm up. But why don't you have a go, if you need lessons just send me a PM ;D The question is, are your Wyandottes prepared to wear the striped costumes I made for them, or will they refuse, claiming it's degrading? It would be good to have some chooks specializing in lighting, anyway, they could help you guys with the candling Only problem then, they reckon they are x-ray specialists and charge a huge fee
