;D There is a bit of a problem in the ranks .Some of the girls are smitten with the new Campine roosters and I had the audacity to post their photos on WAPoultry. Grinch has requested a new photo of "The Grinch " be posted . Well allot has happened in the last week since the amazing :DD performance of our birds at the mothers day concert ;D ;D ;D ...Ill leave it up to Pianochook to fill in the details . Fluffy chooks silkies were a hit especially Beauty's solo " The Wind Beneath My Wings" :-*sung with glazed eyes . :-*Iv had to install new quarters for Mr V And his lady...Pippa. A bit of jealousy happening with some of the bigger Roos picking on him ,hes Belgian and tiny( but he says amazing things come in small packages ). They think just because Mr V is becoming famous (his conducting skills ) he should be doing more work around the place and have decided he should be --chocolate coating ants and frying the cockroaches not wasting his time waving a stick around. Trev ,we hope the fried cockroaches are a hit at your dinner party tonight and they arrived in time Also the girls added some of their latest creation millipede scones .. :-*Just in-case you didn't recognise ???what they were . Nice with peanut butter apparently. The grinch 5 months

well, what how shall I put this, I haven't been able to post much lately because I can't get to the computer with all this fan post piling up in the hallway I'm glad you bought the golden campine after you saw him at the concert playing the saxophone like Ben Webster, and the silver Campine did make a great partner on the trumpet, Miles Davis all over again ... Grinch really does have a future as a countertenor , I know he sees himself more like a rockstar, but sooner or later he'll have to face the facts - btw, I can't get over his new pic, my girls mad me print it in color and A4 to pin up in their coop - how long did he spend in front of the mirror to get his hairdo like this??!! If you'd put him upside down and stick some legs on you'd probably get the same picture, amazing!!! ;D ;D It certainly was worth paying for the flamenco guitar lessons for Ronja, and thanks again Anne for lending Lili and Bonnie the Flamenco dresses, they did look gorgeous. Talking of Lili, I've got a bit of a dilemma with her . I was too busy to write lately, too, because I had to work so much - I had hoped that Lili could take over the entire accompanying work for the Fremantle Eisteddfod, after all the piano practice has payed of, her playing is exquisite but she is too depressed to work at the moment. She keeps demanding plastic surgery, one of her wattles is all crunched up and she claims it affects her beauty so much that her self-esteem is severely damaged and all that because she didn't get the role as Marilyn Monroe and the casting agent told her she's just not perfect for it ... I tried to explain that it's not the wattle, it's more the fact that she really does look very much like a chicken (she didn't like to hear that!) and that other agents would go for the more unique non-symmetrical look Please, Anne, can you send some of those scones our way, that sounds delicious

:oMy birds are sooo!! upset that Lilli is depressed and that she didn't get the role as Marilyn Monroe They think casting agent should have his head read . Don't they know that a crunched wattles is like a beauty spot in the chook world and all classic beauties would die for one . My silver spangled hamburg has been studying psychology nights so is planing on taking on Lilli's case and helping her through this difficult time . so expect him over any time . He seems to think an ongoing program will be necessary .He said you needn't worry about his fees ,he will bill me . After all we need her talents with you so busy pianochook . Your right pianochook the campines are talented but so skittish .I hear they want their own manager they are concerned they may not get the sort of roles they deserve Allot of snickering has been heard in the pens"stuck up birds" and the like All are excited that Trev's babies will hatch soon . They have their own guess the hatch comp and the prize being a doz milli scones and a jar of peanut butter .. With such a great prize I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the organiser's don't take a trip of to see Trev and oversee the hatch They offered to donate a prize to our comp ....they thought maybe a manicure by the goose or CD of the mothers day concert .

Anne, thank you and your birds so much for your kind words, I passed them on to Lili, at least it made her lift her head up from under her wings for a second or two when Ronja and Bonnie heard about your silver spangled Hamburg they immediately told me they were not feeling well either, talking about the most terrifying nightmares they are supposedly having and that they were thinking of eating avocado on purpose... just to have a good reason to spend time with your roo!! great idea to supervise the hatch, and I'm excited about the chance of winning a price now! well, Grinch has been my assistant long enough, he knows the basics of running the show business, if he wants to earn a bit of pocket money he is more than welcome to take on your campines, see what he can manage get for them ;D ;D

"Trev ,we hope the fried cockroaches are a hit at your dinner party tonight and they arrived in time Also the girls added some of their latest creation millipede scones .. :-*Just in-case you didn't recognise ???what they were . Nice with peanut butter apparently." Wow your girls could have cooked the things a little longer, but the birds had fun chasseing the things down. Funniest thing a scone with lots of legs running blind all over the yard trying to get away from the birds They had a feast Thanks for that sadly the chocolate ants were a flop I think I put them out to early should have hung on until they had a good drink first Trev

You will never guess what I saw in the pen yesterday. "Dancer" my dark blue silkie (poor dear is barren) with two white pom poms on her pom pom. She got shy and took off and hid so I could not get a picture. She shyly asked if she could be a cheer leader dancer....you know help her come out of herself. She was so moved by Beauty's song too she wanted to try something to be in the show. Beauty also just loved the new picture of Grinch and has asked for recipe for the scones, she is addicted, oh and the cooking time was just perfect too. Chasing snacks around the yard just meant she could eat.

Dancer rocked up here this afternoon fluffychook ,pompoms intact and my birds just loved her performance. Seems she is to be promoted to head cheer leader . Iv had a couple of requests by the local footy teams to have the team on a regular basis. The decision is hard .... seem some of the girls are Dockers supporters and others are for the Eagles. Allot of clucking and huffing went on this afternoon . No answer was found as some smart chook drew their attention to Trev's Camembert's and they all wanted to head of to taste it ... .... That was until they saw the picture of Trev's naughty Rooster .... The words used to describe what they thought of that cant be repeated on line .... Needless to say they are sending a letter of protest to Trev via the magpies .... They think they should be safe Pianochook ..Grinch is very taken with your confidence in his abilities and is taking the whole thing very seriously . Writing notes having meetings ,much to the horror of the performers who think they should be off getting nails done and the like. your girls were not impressed ...you possibly have heard. Trev check that roasting pan.. You cant hold a good rooster down

wow, Anne, you should be congratulated to your silver spangled Hamburg roo!!!! ;D He did an amazing job, I hardly recognized Lili after only a few sessions with him: her confidence is stronger than ever, she just went to buy a plane ticket to the UK to have herself painted by our new british member ;D she's back to normal, thinking there can only be ONE center of the universe and that's most certainly her the other girls are in bliss, too all Ronja can think of now is roos, roos and more roos, so she actually keeps mistaking me for one (I feel a bit offended, to be honest, I don't look THAT masculine : and crouches down as soon as she sees me well, at least I get to pet her more often now! needless to say she's appalled by the latest incidents on Trev's farm...

There is anachy in the pens, they want to know if that is what happens to the ones that go off to new homes and if so they are leaving right now and never, never, never laying another egg so I can do that to their babies....they then all burst into tears. Totally ruined Dancer's pom poms who is now sulking in the corner again. She came home in such high spirits sprucing off about how high she could kick and that she had all these offers. Trev I think you might need to send some messages of comfort and consolling to some very upset chooks.

All the talk about cats in fluffychooks pen and wild cats at Trevs farm got my girls thinking and they have hired a self defence team ;D ;D to train them and the rest of the music team how to protect themselves . They are concerned that at the concerts may also have to face cats ,dogs all manner of creatures . Apparently some of the team wont take it seriously.. .. Pianochook hens think they are above all of that now they are laying eggs . Apparently . My hamburg rooster William seems to think Lilli has recovered so well from her depression hes going to write up her case as his thesis. means he will have to spend more time with her Fluffy chooks girls are all for it proving to be stars in the self defence area They turned up to the session in pink tracksuits and matching bows around their topknots water bottles in hand . They know cats are real threats ...must say they went down well with my Roos...such cute outfits ..where ever did you get them fluffychook. You will have to send yours down Trev seems they also need lessons in common sense as well as self defence ...what rooster sets himself up as cat/fox dinner A little display of how they are going
