I will be there a bit after 9.30am. I have to drop off my granddaughter at school and sometimes she wants me to stay a bit longer. It takes about 3/4 hour to get there from Kalamunda, that is without slow traffic and road works.

Went again today, there was definitely more poultry there than last time, lots of baby chicks, and also a pair of Anconas that looked pretty good, but I thought better leave them as I still haven't broken the news to Hubby yet of some of the extras that are in the incubator, so don't know what they ended up going for as I didnt stay.

Maybe we will need to get our own WA Poultry Trader hats, badge, t'shirt or something
What about the muscovy drake and 3 ducks AND the buff orpington's. I have not really been a fan of the muscovy, sorry people, but they were gorgeous. My daughter has now added orpington's to her list of must haves when she eventually leaves home and gets her own place. Doesn't even have a boyfriend, so that will be a while. Good thing we love her and her daughter.

Hi All, I am looking for a couple of silky hens. I live in Bunbury - can anyone help out - young birds please.
Silkies seem so hard to come by down south. I am sure that I saw lots around when I lived up in Geraldton.
Perhaps they prefer the warmer weather - lol.

Mundijong Auctions are on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month and I think they have started having them on the last Saturday of the month if it is a 5 week month, don't know for certain about the Saturday's as yet. and I think the name of the street is Evelyn St Mundijong, also as mention in a previous comment, buyer beware!!!

John, my sister lives in Geraldton and she said they are hard to get there too. Look on the chooknet.com.au site for silkies. There are a couple of ladies who have chicks for sale in the Hills area, but as you want hens you may need to talk to the the site owner (chooknet). I got a hen from her recently which has just started laying.
