Hi All,
just thought I'd introduce myself. I live in Kalamunda and have 4 chooks, 1 Punk Rocker, 1 black cross breed, 1 Australorp and 1 I'm not sure about... Maybe I'll post a pic later to get some help with the breeding of her.
I have just recently bought a small incubator and hatched 3 Australorp chicks about half a week ago. 2 black, 1 blue. I received more eggs today which will be going in tomorrow morning, Australorp and Andalusian. I ordered 6 eggs (3 each) but the lady sent 12 by mistake. I can fit 7 in my incubator so have 5 left. Not sure what to do with them.
I also have 2 other cross breed chicks that my black chook and punk rocker share as both chooks got clucky at the same time and decided to share the same box. So the chicks have 2 mums!
I have found the information on this site (and others) very helpful as I am fairly new to the game.
Thanks!

Hi, here are my chooks. I'm not sure how to add more than 1 photo at a time so I'll just post more messages. This photo is of the punk rocker, black unknown cross breed and the two cross breed chicks (x isa browns). Attachments:

Second pic. Australorp and unknown breed. Anyone have any idea? The person it was bought off said it was purebred but he couldn't remember the breed! Attachments:

Hi Bootstrap, welcome to WAP, I'm sure you'll fit right in.
not to be cheeky.... but do you still have those left over eggs? I've got a clucky hen I'm having trouble getting fertile eggs for (lakelands is saving some for me at the moment, but I'm not sure how many she'll be able to get me... seams like everyone is clucky right now) anyway, I'm in Lesmurdie, I'll buy them off you if they are still there.
Cheers
Ashley
p.s. cute chicks!!
