I just got back from my garden and today we picked our first apple cucumbers, tomato and globe artichokes. YUM!! As well as a few more lettuces that I gave to the neighbours. There is some lovely chilis coming along and the corn is getting higher. The celery is starting to take off and the beans have got flowers on them. All the herbs are doing really well. Im going to harvest some basil tomorrow and take to mums to make some pesto.
I have also just sprouted some alfalfa, mung beans and fenugreek. The fenugreek smells wonderful. If anyone knows where I can mail order sprout seed in WA I would be interested as our Health food store doesnt stock radish seed and I really like those in a sprout.

Fenugreek is a seed that is common in asian cooking for spice blends like curry. It also has wide health benefits. Here is a link I found for you. I thought this was funny- good for enlarging breasts and increasing libido!!Who would have thought... lol and no thats not why Im eating it, although Im sure Alan wouldnt mind www.homeremediesweb.com/fenugreek_health_benefits.phpIt tastes nice and adds a different flavour to the sprout mix and its good for you.
