Talk about going from one extreme to the other. This was an egg laid yesterday by one of the silver lace wyandottes. A whole 12 grms Slightly bigger - todays egg 15 gms and just a comparison photo - the bigger egg which is an average size was 70grms I wonder if there is a world record the smallest egg laid by a regular sized chook

The big egg is due to hatch this Friday, and no I havent candled the egg so I don't know if it is any good or not, will have to wait till Friday to find out.

No, the big egg hasn't hatched and I dont think it is promising, but will leave the tray in the incubator till tomorrow night as there are still some others that have just pipped and hopefully they will hatch, will post the a pic in new arrivals when they have all hatched

No, the big egg was a dud, but most of the other eggs hatched, will post a photo in new arrivals tomorrow.
