I agree with steph, definately a girl, I'm not a huge fan of muscovies, but she is a very nice duck wendy, i do hope she settles in well for you, and the eggs will look exactly the same as the pekins, sojust at night time you might have to seperate her from the rest of your girls, just incase the eggs get mixed up

Hi Brendon, thanks for that. I must say Ive never been a huge fan either, but she's a lovely soul and weve all grown very fond of her. Ive decided I like Muscovies She doesnt live with the Pekins for that very reason, and they tend to give her a bit of a hard time at the moment. I have been selling a few fertile eggs so I dont want to get the eggs mixed up when she starts to lay.She lives with the chooks! And follows the Polish roo and his harem around the yard. Its great. The chooks dont mind now.

Well I found 3 eggs tonight underneath a broody silkie that obviously were too massive for any of the other chooks she resides with to have lain SO Sweety's definately a girl and started earning her keep already YAY!! She's roosting with the chooks and now laying with the chooks....maybe she thinks shes a chook!! hehe ;D
