lol Betty, your ducks love you and know you are a source of yummy things. When I had ducks I had to put up a barrier to stop them from going into places I did not want them. Hopefully someone else might have a better idea. Good luck.

Lol yes, they're clever lil bu*gers As fluffychook said, the only way you're gunna stop them from doing that is to put a barrier up to stop them from getting to the front door.

Hi Betty, how are you? The only solution is to put a barrier up. I have found with my Pekins, a low wire fence, even a foot high will stop them. Now the go crook at me cheers, Wendy

Hi Betty, I've had ducks for many years, and like everyone has said, the only way is to put up a barrier, it doesn't need to be very high, maybe 400mm if it's a big duck, 250mm if it's a bantam, it's a bit of a pain, but it's the only way to stop them if you want them to be free range. Good luck:)

LOL Duck's and Geese are shockers aren't they. They do seem to love the doorways to the house and all the people places. If I forget to shut the gate to the poultry yard I get the same problem....plus they get in the pool too..I like the idea of the white picket fence. Hope you hubby is ready

Well there you go, I didn't think the water would have bothered them too much.

I will have to try that on my geese and see if it works. But I have a feeling they will just laugh at me and ask for more LOL....I spray the hose on my geese and they love it

I think you may need to get one of those squirt things, pressure guns.
