Thought we would have another photo comp. The winner will receive a pack of leg bands (we can never have enough of these) and the topic is Funny Fowls, the photo can include other animals or people but mainly should be about the fowl or duck, and nothing that would harm the bird in any way. (thought I had better add that in just in case) If you can come up with a funny caption that would be great.
Please email your entries to wapoultrytrader@yahoo.com.au and entries close 1st August 2009
Happy shooting!!!!! ;D

I's definately harder to get funny pics than I thought....When the cooks do something funny. the camera is in the house. When I have the camera they are just chooks doing chook things.. I have been trying to get a photo of the Faverolles doing the bunny hop....Is wierd when I call them they come bouncing towards me like bunnies...Sort of a hop fly sort of thing. They don't seem to run like a normal chooks. Probably wont look as funny in a photo though

Exactly! Like I find it funny when the Silkies have been standing out in the pouring rain and look like drowned rats lol but other people might not find that funny?

Sometimes it is the caption that makes the picture come alive and be funny

Today must have been silly chooken day at my place, I cam home from shopping and their was a gold lace wyandotte trying to use a hanging basket on the verandah for a nest and yes I got a photo, and then later on I went to feed the flugglies and there is one silly pullet stuck well and truly in the feeder with only her tail showing, and yes I got that photo too, before I tried to get her out, what a battle she was well and truly stuck, so needless to say they will be going in the comp.
