Well the gals & guys are all shampooed and fluffed up all ready to go and loaded on the trailer, I have even remembered to pack the camera, so will take some pics while I am there of any silkies for Tina to see whats out there, sadly 3 that I had entered wont be going thanks to Mr Fox, but thems the breaks.

These are some photos from the Harvey Young Bird show yesterday for the silkie lovers This one is my Light Sussex young cockerel, he placed 1st which I think was pretty good as he is just barely 7 months and the competition was a lot older. This one is my gold lace wyandotte pullet who won her class and this one is my little jap bantam cockerel and he won his class. bit of a shame as my 2 whites were the only ones entered again and but there was a bit of a change around this time in placings, so it seems like they are going to take turns in placing 1st and sorry but somehow I missed getting a photo of the bird that bird of show

Thanks so much for the pictures Judy, it goes to show that getting the dark wattles etc is very hard as people are showing them with red bits. But I will persevere in trying to wipe out the red in mine.
