Sorry guys I have a yucky question that I hope some one can help with. I have a little pullet that was attacked by a nasty little cockerel and severly feather and vent pecked. The top of the parsons nose is clearing up nicely but I think the cockeral must have done some serious damage to the pullets vent area. I have been bathing it to keep it clean and spraying with a disinfectant spray to help dry it out. But the main problem is that she is doing pure white poo. I understand that the white part in a normal poo is urine but surely this can't all be urine. She is eating but no normal poo is coming out. and this stuff just hangs around the vent area.... If anyone has any ideas or can help please let me know as the poor little girl is starting to go down hill.

The white poo part is uric acid should be aprox 39% The site below shows lots of colour samples of chook poo. chat.allotment.org.uk/index.php?topic= Symptoms could be cocci

it could be a digestive problem as one of the signs are white poo, possibly give her the ricketts diet and check her at night to see if her crop is full, but in the morning it should be empty

She seems to have dried up a bit at the moment which is probably even more of a problem. I will try and get a pic tomorrow if she makes it. She was looking pretty sad this afternoon
