All girls! If thats the case you guys are bl**dy lucky! Lovely looking boy you've got there. Look forward to seeing what colours he throws Seeing those close up piccies, I reckon its splash. But then again, I'm no splash silkie expert lol. What do you think Jacquie? I havent had a real close look at my pullet yet, maybe I should and see if she's got the same dark patches.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for screaming, Im so excited that I finally have a splash! Looks like our dark blue roo is getting replaced lol. Now I wonder if the two light blue chicks I have are also splash. My rooster used to look like them so now I migth have 3 splash!
Have you looked at your pullets colouring yet Steph? I hope you managed to get one aswell. This boy didnt really start to show these colours until very recently and hes almost 5 months old. Maybe you will have to wait and see if she is still quite young.

No, I havent actually picked her up and had a really close look. But I definately will now She's about 3 months old so like you said, maybe I'll have to wait a little longer for the colouring to show. *fingers crossed*

Shelle looking forward to seeing what colour chcikies you get from your buffish boy....I think you will get some interesting colours. And I hope your light blue is a splash as my light blue also has lots of dark feathers spotted all over it's wings body and tail and it's only 5-6 weeks old, so fingers crossed.

Well it might be a bit tricky but I will keep my fingers crossed for you too. After a week or so it might begin to cramp but Ill hold out for you. All for the cause after all. See if you can get some pictures and I can at least let you know if she looks similar to my boy when he was younger.
