I got a couple of partridge Pekin pullets from them late last year. And yeh, they have some absolutely stunning birds. Their Pekins are incredible Carolyn, I live about 25 minutes drive inland from their place.

Only took me 40 minutes to get there from my place so you're much closer than I thought

Hey Mandi just wondering if you ended up going to chittering and if you got any chooks from them.....
the 4 I got settled in well. The little roo had a rough start and I had to isolate him and give him a few tonics and pick me ups and some cocci meds just to make sure. He was a bit listless for a few days and wobbly on his pins. Not sure what was wrong with him but he seems to be getting better every day. He got to live in the house in my special isolation ward LOL and now he thinks he's a people. I am looking forward to him growing up he's quite the little character.

Hi lakelands, I went to chittering and got a pair of blue laced gold, the male being a light blg. I also got two white, and four partridge wyandotte pullets. They are all going good and seem to be healthy so far. Sorry to hear that your roo was a bit sick, hopefully he is all better now, especially with all the attention he has and will recieve!

though I would add a couple more pics so you can see how they are growing....Other than the feather plucking they are also very flightly birds compared with all my other ones. I thinks they just need more handling. I will let you know if they get any freindlier as the get older and have more people time The cockrel is quite freindly now he spent a week in the house when he was looking a bit down. He's all better now These 2 girls are still very flightly and the 3rd one is in isolation to stop the others pecking her But

I dont' think either of them are quite right yet. I have mostly been looking up Standard size so I don't know much about these bantam ones. The breeder however did say that by the time I cross the 2 I should end up with a good colour so I will wait and see
