You may be aware some of my last hatch were born with curled toes. H7 suggested I try some Vegimite and milk (full of vitamin B) So I have started this thread to update you on whether or not it works....I added some vegimite just about 1/4 teaspoon to a cup of water as I wasn't sure about the milk thing. And offered it to the chicks to drink. they really seemed to like it anyway. I guess a drink is a drink and it was hot and they were probably thirsty LOL Any way one chicks toes do look better on one of it's feet today and the white ones toes seem to have completely uncurled (the middle toes a little wonky still) but they weren't too bad in the first place. One chick (the last one to hatch )still has his feet pretty well balled up. Don't know if it's the vegimite or maybe they would have just got better with time any way. I have given them another does this morning couldn't hurt and never know maybe it is helping. I also added some probiotic to their other drinking water. little guy with curled toes he straightens them when I pick him up the little white one toes nearly srtaight now One of the little ones without any problems

I was reading a BYP post about a lady who didnt have anything else and it was the weekend so she gave a sick chick berocca and the chick got better. I will see if I can find it and post the thread here. It was a lovely story anyhow.

So cute looks like it's wearing slippers. Get's one foot tangled up behind sometimes so might have to cut them back bit. I do hope he does get better. It's a real little cutie and comes straight to me unlike the others who are still a bit shy. I have been givin it physio on his feet as well yeah I know I'm strange but the little guy seems to like it and kind of purs when I hold him and massage it's feet. I still haven't named it. But was thinking Ducky cos of it's little paddles couldn't think of anything that reflects the little slippers on it's feet. If anyone has any good idea's
