If they're stickfast fleas just use frontline spray. Squirt on the skin on back of the neck. 1 squirt for banties, 2 squirts for large. Very effective, lasts for ages. Can buy it from Better Pets & Gardens.

Yes they are unfortunately. Frontline sounds good. has anyone heard of using condy's crystals in the chooks water for fleas? My hubby got told this this morning. will look up on it and see.

be careful using condy's i just read an item on " ABC Message Board- Gardening Australia" and entered in the search section "stick fast fleas" says to strong a mix would be poisonous another method my dad used was to keep the yards damp in summer as a preventative not sure if it really worked or not

Hubby ended up using maliathon, I just had to stay away from them for a few days. Looks like it worked so i"m happy now.

Use as Cluck n Waddle has recommend for spray, or a couple of drops.

hi i was wondering if i could use frontline for small dogs on my chickens? i have one small dog so i have heaps left. and would it be two drops per large bird using this product? Thankz

I dont think it matters which frontline you use as they all contain the same ingredient, the frontline worked wonders on my chickens. And I would say two drops would be sufficient!!

To permantly get rid of fleas,ticks etc in your chookpen plant a WORMWOOD or two and all your problems are over. Natural no chemicals
