have heard that a bit of vegemite in milk does wonders for curled toes. (extra boost of Vitamin B)

No Sign of any further action. No point in leaving them any longer. So the final count is 5 hatchlings all from the D Gregory eggs.....Sorry to all those with high expectations including myself. So looks like H7 is the winner

Which eggs hatched, any of your own?

Cluck picked 10 so she would be next closest.... I am sure she will appreciate it H7. And Tina the only to hatch were D gregory eggs. The extra ones that I put in there were all not fertile. so I'm guessing the rooster was too young or firing blanks. They were only crosses any way and I just put them to make up the batch

5 out of 12 for posted eggs is considered a good hatch rate.

Yes, as Tina said thats a good hatch for posted eggs Carolyn. Dont be disappointed I'll be thrilled if I can hatch 5 from 12 of my coming lot of posted eggs. H7, you won the comp so you should have the scratchie

An update on the chicks. The white white is turning into a splash very pale with a few slightly darker fethers coming through can't wait to see what it ends up looking like. The darker ones are all startinf to get some wing feathers too and are rangine for a really dark to medium dark blue colour. the little one with curled toes is not really getting much better but I have progressed from a vegemite mix to a vitamin supliment high in B group vitamins. Hope fully the toes will straighten out some more. He still get around fine right now but imagine as it gets bigger that it may have more trouble so hope it gets better
