Guess what arrived this evening. One Buff Orpington and one Silver Spangled Hamburg. That's all so far, still hoping for more. I just love the dorky look of newly hatched chicks.

Love them babies. I am always amazed at how that baby fitted into that egg.

What a long hatch that was! Kept me entertained until this morning. I now have six buff orpingtons and four silver spangled hamburgs. All cute and doing fine.

Most of the fluffy bums are doing fine. Three with splayed legs still in the intensive care ward but doing okay. They are precious!

Have you used a bandaid cut in half to correct the splayed legs? It works wonders.
