Posting this for my sister. One of her Modern Game bantam hens is very unwell. No visible reason for her condition. She is 2 years old. Fed scratch mix and layer mash. Wormed a few days ago. She looks tired, pale and not eating much. Poos are small and green, at times watery. We are force feeding her at the moment. She takes the feed fine. No issue swallowing the feed we put in her beak. She has been given Tylan antibiotics for 2 days now. No improvement.
Does anyone have any other ideas of what we can do?

Trev, No rat poison used on the property. Very unlikely that she ate any poison. She has been like this for over a week now.
I am hoping that the antibiotics will kick in and deal with the illness.

She is responding to the hand feeding and the antibiotics. In the evenings she would free range and peck at food on her own. With luck she would put on the weight she needs for a full recovery.
