thanks for that they are fast I got 4 ducks in the thing with room did 10 ducks quick smart when I got the water temp correct and turned off the cold running water it worked a whole lot better new things just got to get used to them

That must be a huge plucker, 4 ducks!!! Certainly make the job easier. Only thing for you to do now is to breed more birds.

still got 14 to get dressed for dinner chooky gave 6 away last week then did another 12 after that I have 6 roosters to have a go at then I can start again by the time I stick half a beast in the freezer along with the birds I will not have a load of room left feast or famine always the way

Looks like your meat needs are done for a while. We do the same with poultry and lamb. Tempted to get steer to fatten up.

we use Dexters small but the meat is great most of the fat is inside the beast they don't take up a lot of room and are easy to handle if you get a calf you can handle it most of the time and tame it the kids would love it good luck, my sheep are pregnant again should drop in late April early May there old now 7/8 years but good mothers just pets

I have 3 9 year old ewes. Still going strong and producing good healthy lambs. The younger ewes do a good job too.
With the cattle, do you have to feed much during the dry summer months?
