Giantrunt, Ok, I'll contact you for some more eggs in a couple weeks when the incubator is free. The chicks are growing nicely apart from the one with leg issues. The black feathers are starting to show.

Timing is not ideal. The wife booked us for time away for Christmas in Sydney and then to Hong Kong. 3 weeks all up. I think this is too long to leave 4 week old chicks by themselves. I will have to stop hatching chicks until the new year ...... unless a broody pops up in between.

Are you hatching with pullet eggs? Most breeders advise against doing that for various reasons. I have done it many times without any issues but then I am not a serious breeder and I don't sell any of my birds.

My indian game rooster's neck and posture seem to be stuck mid crow. His neck is out stretched and hanging low. He is eating fine. He runs after food. He can't get up on the perch, so he is sleeping on the ground at the moment.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Mine can get up on the perch but not now with his weird looking posture. Hopefully it is a temporary thing.
