Eggs take a while to cool down. Cover the incubator with a blanket. I think it will be fine. I have hatched eggs that were stone cold and soaking wet after the broody left the nest (in the bush). Place them in the incubator and the chicks hatched a couple days late but healthy and fine.

Your lot are early starters, my power will be off on Tuesday the 28th for the third time this season ( 8am to 2pm) luckily I have no eggs in the incubator as they are due to hatch tomorrow. Tuesday is due to be 30 deg so the young chicks should be OK, if not they will go in a cardboard box out side were it will be warm.

P-)No Canna.... Just a waste of my time, so won't waste/bother again.... didn't pay much for the eggs, so the next lot will probably be the same. Plus just pop & grandson thing... he/we'll end with enough to play with... & get back to breeding my sussex...

If you get a reasonable hatch from the remaining 10 eggs you will have enough to breed with next year, then the sky is the limit.
