well I haven't lost any for 2 days now still putting in the medication in their water . My friend D in Gero said that T has had a big issue with it too and thinks that the cocciostate in the feed has stoped working.

or not putting in the same amount as they used to ? That will cause problems, this is the only bought feed I use Starter and then I mix grower with grain`s, pollard, bran and meat meal works well I add vits to there water every now and again and so far no problems

It could be resistance to the current medication in the feed. When I have eggs hatched by broodies and chicks reared by broodies, I don't give them chick starter. They do fine. I only use chick starter on chicks raised in the brooder. For some reason they don't cope well with cocci. Broody raised chicks don't seem to suffer the effects of cocci.

I have heard some are starting to put a little older bird poop in the water to expose them to a little amount early with better results.
