Hi all, I have a sick little chook, she is 3 months old and is lethargic, not eating and has a pale comb, I'm extremely worried about her. What do I do? Can anyone help?

That could be a number of things is she also haunched up with ruffled feathers? it can vary from Cocci cold / flu to worms. or even mites.

She has started wandering around with her friends now, eating a little. Her feathers were a little ruffled and her tail was drooping. She's not back to her usual self yet but better than before. Have treated for worms, whats the best way to check for mites? I'm a new to the poultry world, and appreciate any advice.

night time with a torch little red insectsrunning around and up the legs they hide during day light, I was thinking more on the lines it may have been Cocci and you would have to have giving meds as it can kill fast its bad when the temp is warm and there is high humidity or rain.

Try giving her some bread soaked in milk. She will expelled any infection in her digestive tract.
