I've now got 4 (3 Plymouth Rock and 1 Indian Game) and another has pipped. Today is only day 20 so hopefully there will be plenty more. There is still 5 Plymouth Rock, 2 Indian Game and 4 Rock x Game so everyone cross your fingers. Photos when they've finished hatching.

6 chicks hatched now but the last 2 have got shell stuck to them. Am I correct in thinking this happens because the humidity isn't high enough. I have increased the humidity just in case but am now worried about the rest of the eggs

Have they hatched but still have a bit of shell stuck? I wouldn't worry too much - I don't think it has anything to do with the humidity I would, however, put a little bit of warm water on the bits of stuck shell (if it's only a little bit) and work it off to avoid losing bigger bits of fluff later on I don't know what causes it, and I've had some in a hatch have it, some not Would love to know other people's thoughts though 6 is pretty good for a first hatch though - you should be very proud

I had 13 viable eggs at 11 days but didn't candle them at 18 days and I've had 6 hatch so maybe I'll get a few more
