Hi Everyone, I thought that I would share my first Silver Sussex chickens (Rare breed list) hatched over the last 6 weeks. I hatched their parents out of eggs from NSW, QLD and SA in 2010. They are starting to show some great markings. This link is to my website. I hope you like? bassomussiesandsilversussex.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=12357929Sorry guys don't know how to put images in my posts. I hope everyone's hatching etc are going well. Cheers Terry

Nice website Terry The chickies are looking lovely. I was actually admiring their parents on your website just the other day!

Thanks. They are beautiful birds and very docile. Love the Sussex breed. I have another trio I have just but together so will be collecting their eggs soon to check the fertility rate and hopefully get a few hatchlings from them as well.

Beautiful chooks Terry! I also love the Sussex and wish I had the space to expand to some silver ones (tried speckled's but they are escape artists!) Good luck with them and hope to see more piccies too!

Thanks ikbokchook. The silvers are great and very placid. No escape artists here. Will update pics as they grow. Thanks again
