Hi all, I have been a very sick girl, been in bed since Wednesday. Managed to spend a bit of time out today, but still not a lot. Picked up a 'bug' so the doctor tells me. Well it was a super bug, ear infections, high temps, chesty cough and the nausea. I was getting to feeling like I was never going to get better, but woke this morning and knew I was finally on the mend.
We had 3 hatch out and they are so cute. Two look like emu chicks and one is a dusty yellow. I have taken photos so I will download them and post them shortly

The three today, they move so fast, can't get a good photo. One needs a bit more preening, looks better now Smokie at least stayed still long enough I will try for better ones tomorrow

They are beautiful, wonder whether Smokey will keep the different colouring on her (thinking positive) head and chest. Noticed that you had been very quiet the last few days, I thought you must have gone on holiday, had visions of you taking your new chicks as hand luggage as I couldnt imagining you leaving them home alone ;D

Yeah a holiday for one, very lonely, didn't enjoy myself at all. I don't recommend it to anyone. I love the colour on her (being positive too), my next batch is due to hatch on Wednesday.
