Due to unanimous vote, we are having an online poultry show,
How to enter.
Pure breeds
4 photos are required for the purebred sections, side and front view, closeup of the head, and a photo of a spread out wing. One of the photos must display the legs and feet clearly. In one of the photos of the whole bird please use a standard 375 grm drink can to be used as a size comparison. If the breed has a feature that you would like to highlight please include a 5th photo. Every breed and/or colour will have its own class.
The photo must be of high enough resolution to enlarge to full screen to see details. The bigger the better.
Pet poultry classes
Maximum of 2 photos per bird, you can enter as many birds as you would like, entrants will name the class that you would like your bird to go in. (eg biggest, prettiest, most colourful, whatever you think. but please no loudest crow.)
You can enter as many birds as you wish. Entry is free.
Every bird entered who does not place will receive a participation certificate. 1st and 2nd certificates for each class, all certificates will be forwarded by email.
Bird of Show will be decided from the 1st Placegetters or the purebred classes and will receive a mug with a photo of the winning bird on it.
The pet bird with the most votes will also receive a cup with its photo on it.
Entries can be sent on CD to WA Poultry Trader PO Box 64 Byford WA 6122 (please note that these will not be posted back)

your name what you would like to be published
Breed name
colour and variety
Gender rooster/cockerel/hen/pullet
Size bantam or large
The Australian Poultry Standards will be used as a reference
Pet classes-classes will be nominated by entrants
Your name that you would like published
The class that you would like your entry to be in.
Competition closes 30th November 2008
Photos will be displayed on WAP, when the results and comments are available these will also be included. Pet classes will be voted on by the members. (please note pet classes not eligible for bird of show cup, but the bird with the most votes will also receive a cup with its photo on the side) As this is the 1st show if there is something I haven't covered please let me know and it will be added
Everyone that takes the time to enter and/ vote their name will go into a raffle and the winner will also receive a cup.
