cheeky buggers.
I have put chicken wire around each of my garden bed but the little beggers stick there heads through the wire and eat anything they can reach

I have raised garden beds and intend on making a portable chicken tractor type of thing for when I want to let the chickens into the garden. I am hoping to build a completely enclosed tractor to fit just inside the garden beds. Hopefully it will be light enough for the two of us to move over when necessary. Until we have built this, as cute as they are, my chickens are not going to get a look in on the veggie garden.

I agree with Trevor, put a few over your fence and let them have a go at your garden. What a difference it will make.
