You Know that must be the best thing for a little one to do I would love to have seen her eyes when she opened the lid and found the egg just sitting there hanging on just for her to pick it up that's what life is all about may it never stop Trev

It must be great I know our chooks are 20 weeks and no eggs . It will be a great day to get some reward for all time and effort for our spoilt chickens

...she is one busy hen! My kids just got egg no.6 out of the nest box ;D ;D and I now know for sure that they are Ronja's, the Barnevelder's. We saw her sitting in the box the other day and when she left we found a nice warm egg ;D the others still haven't started laying, they just let Ronja do all the work, not fair, really

;D thanks, chickita, I think so, too. Ronja is amazing, an egg a day is still on her schedule and she keeps to it like clockwork. The others are taking their sweet time
