your musical director has a major crisis Anne, get the herbs out of the cupboard and do your best, I've got a full blown addiction to this site - our computer crashed short after my last post, we still haven't got it back from the repairer and guess where I'm sitting now: in a shopping centre!!!!? Sweaty hands, high blood pressure, depression-thinking you guys won't love me any more and I'll not be allowed back in , that's just some of the symptoms Anyway, I'm feeling better right now ;D great idea with the road trip, no problem there, we should think about which breed is best with what sort of music, I reckon. My sussex definitely classical, Barnevelder classical with a hint of Jazz . I could see some silkies getting into Punk, black australorp probably tend more to "goth" sort of music, whatever that is. I hope I'll get my internet back tomorrow, so I'll discuss more details with my girls later and let you know what they think

Haha! ;D Love Grinch on the drums! That HAS to go on the t-shirts! Annie - Maggie is adorable - I just LOVE her hat! hehe!
Sorry to disappoint, but as you all know - It's quokka day. Unfortunately, the only remotely funny thing I could find was a cow named 'Hippy' - considering the way this thread is going - 'Hippy' might be a valuable asset to the band! She could show all the girls (and boys) how to rock like it's Woodstock! Anyone want a cow.......??!!! ;D

I think Hippy could join the country &western team My new speckled Sussex from Caroline could do a spot of boot-scooting ,Little red spotted scarves around their necks.Im sure Hippy could play a mean Guitars , Caroline maybe your other speckled's might like to join the team. ;D ;D Trev could send up a sheep for effect . ;)I was wondering what had happened to you Pianochook thought maybe you had been cooking again and somehow destroyed your other hand and you were teaching your girls (chooks)how to type. Anyway got out the St johns wort (depression)and Graviola for Blood pressure ,thought I send my Anconas over with them . ::)They jump the fence all the time so I thought Id train them as carrier pigeons. They could could be useful when computers are down.

thank goodness, we've got the computer back Anne, considering that we've never actually met you seem to know me remarkably well - how would you treat cut wounds? No, I did that just BEFORE I burned my hand, but you're right, I should start teaching my ladies how to type for next time - they'll get little headphones plugged into a tape recorder so they can do all my paperwork for me ;D And we really do need "plan B", Anconas sound good, do you think they'll make it up to NOR suburbs? Maybe they can catch a bus I've had lots of time to think: I reckon we should not discriminate the poultry youth. How about a whole "family fun day for the entire flock". The new hatchlings could form a children's choir (unless one of us specializes in vent sexing I'm afraid we can't really set up a pure boy-or girl choir), there is enough repertoire out there, starting with the all time favorite "chicken in the kitchen", we could even go international, I can teach them the enchanting german song "Fuchs, Du hast die Gans gestohlen". It is very appropriate and goes like this: "Fuchs Du hast die Gans gestohlen, gib' sie wieder her! Sonst muss Dich der Jaeger holen mit dem Schiessgewehr." And, just in case one or two forum members don't speak german, here the translation:" fox you've stolen the goose, give it back! Or else the hunter will get you with his gun." Don't worry, it's in a G-major, so it has a happy feel to it, indicating a positive outcome for the goose, so the chicks won't be too scared. Only problem is, the uniform for the chicks prohibits fancy hairdo's, so Polish, Houdan and the like need to approach their owners and request a haircut. Other than this, what do you think? And, there absolutely can not be an event like this without Hippy!!! Maybe she could act as a bouncer before and after her western stage performance (great idea, by the way!!!) . I'm not convinced that she is a good enough guitarist, though, her hooves always press down all the strings at once then again, power chords are just that, aren't they Carolyn, your male choir is famous far and wide!! It would be an honor to finish (or start ) the concert with their performance ;D ;D
