I know there is a drop-and-shop at the tip near the end of Rowley rd. (South on Tonkin, left at Rowley rd, right at the end, tip is in on the right, shop on left before weight bridge). Hubby goes there every chance he gets. Its not huge but it has some good stuff. There are also a few salvage yards around. I know there is one in Midland and one on Great Northen Hwy (I think).
The shop-and-drop at the Rowley rd tip is open Friday, Saturday, Sunday until about 4pm I think.

I only know of the one on Rowley Rd that bootstrap mentioned - and I love it! Much cheaper than a salvage yard (I got a small cage there and they even knocked more off the price written on it - maybe I looked poor!) it is definately worth a look! I thought most tips had these recycling shops?? Perhaps ring the tip closest to you and ask? Good luck!

Actually might be Hopkinson Rd I think it then turns into Rowley Rd. It's the Armadale tip anyway! Cheers and have fun! (apparently they get a couple of cages through every week if that's what you're after!) Enjoy! ;D

Alan went to the tip this morning as we had a trailer full of junk to get rid of. Now I can load it up with more junk and garden rubbush!! He came home with a Kodak digital camera in a case which once we put the batteries from out camera in it it works a treat. Pity its only 5 mp like our camera Well now we have a spare I guess Amazing what people throw away. He also brought home 2 kick scooters and 2 electric scooters. He is going to see if the electric ones work but we need a charger for them.
