Please place your guesses here. Guesses can be made right up until the hatch date or when chicks start to hatch whichever the soonest.
Number of Eggs: 16 Date Set: 18th June Due Date: 9th July Breed: 12 x Silkies, 4 x Speckled Sussex, Background of eggs set History Silkies have been posted from QLD Speckled Sussex are my own. Using my old faithfull incubater .
Hatch is monitored by Lakelands
Please state what date you think they will hatch
If more than 1 person guesses the correct number of chicks hatched , then the hatch dates are considered. If the correct number and dates are not guessed, it will then go to the closest guess in the same sequence.
Good luck everybody

Are these Gregory eggs? If it is silver, will either turn out light blue or splash. Both are really lovely.

Good morning. lots happenning here this morning. so far a total of 6 jave hatched. 3 silver and 3 dark blue. there are 4 more eggs that have pipped and a fair bit of noise still coming from the bater. At least one of the eggs that have pipped is a speckled sussex. Yes Tina they are gregory eggs so I am looking forward to some nice blues....there was also supposed to be some buff so fingers crossed
According to Gerri "been hatching a rainbow of splash, light blue, white, buff, partridge, dark blue, lilac, mottles"

I got a couple of pics After a closer look at the three lighter ones.... 1 is definately still silver looking. One looks a little buff and the third one is a buff colour with racing stripes down its back oh and one of the darker ones looks almost black Not the best photos I am afraid...I will try and get some better ones a bit later

How awesome, rainbow colours. The buff with stripes may turn out buff partridge. My eggs are due next week, looking forward to what I get. Hoping for some buff ones too.
