lol you could say that!I give them less than a week to outgrow the plastic tub theyre in now I saw these massive black ones at Bunnings and thought I might buy one of those. They wont last long in that either. They grow too quick. These little ones are pretty much spoken for. The people Im selling the ducks to want pairs and trios so I have to keep them until I can sex them. When I do the next lot I will try to sell them as small ducklings. I dont have the space to raise many more. I already have an order for unsexed ducklings from the next lot!! lol

Hi guys, well they have all hatched now! I have 8 ducklings The last one struggled all day and I made the decision to help it when I got home. I got it our and the tip of its foot had the umbilical cord tight around it. So the foot was sort of stuck to its tummy. I managed to get the foot out from the cord without cuttting it. A bit of yellow gunk oozed out of the belly button. I have popped it back in the bator on a cloth. Its very sleepy. I hope it makes it. I will let it sleep a while and then give it a drink of water with electrolytes. All the others are full of beans and bathing in their water and eating with gusto. Theyre all haveing a cuddle with the kids at the moment. Of the other 4 eggs, 1 was infertile and 3 I ditched after a while 2 smelt awful and 1 wasnt growing. I'll check out who won in a while. Cheers, Wendy

Hey guys, do I include the bub I had to help or is it only the ones that got out on their own? If its the 8 babies, Shea is the winner if its the 7 that hatched on their own, Ladyfeatherfoot wins.
